Welcome to the Institute for New Music

The Institute for New Music was founded in 1964 by Wolfgang Fortner, expanded by Klaus Huber and then continued by Mathias Spahlinger. From 2009 to October 2017 Cornelius Schwehr was director of the institute. Johannes Schöllhorn has been director of the New Music Institute since October 2017.
