Master's degree in Music as a 4-semester programme after a relevant Bachelor's degree
Requirements in the entrance exam
Instrumental performance of three works from different styles.
For recorder: One of the three works should either be an original diminution of a madrigal or an original ornamentation of a high baroque Italian slow movement or an original arrangement of a baroque sonata for violin or transverse flute.
For historical performance practice basso continuo:
From the basso continuo repertoire (17th/18th century)
- one prepared work
- an unprepared work (15 minutes preparation time) with the participation of a solo instrument or a singer
- a solo piece by Johann Sebastian Bach
Duration: approx. 20 minutes.
Admission to the aptitude test requires that the following is submitted with the application documents: a self-written document on the subject of "historical performance practice" or musicology or music analysis (accepted written languages: German, English, French).
