How does my child get into the FAB?

Admission to the academy is granted upon passing the entrance exam.

When can I apply?

There are two entrance exams per year. The application deadlines are: 1 April for the winter semester and 1 December of the previous year for the summer semester.

When do classes take place?

The young FAB students meet every Friday afternoon at Freiburg University of Music for their core courses. Major-specific lessons are scheduled individually.

What costs should I expect?

The cost is 750 euros per semester.

Is the FAB preparatory program recognized?

Yes, academic credits earned through FAB are recognized for the entrance exam and during studies at Freiburg University of Music.
