Key areas of study, artistic profile only: individual tuition in the main subject, ensemble for new music, new chamber music, basics of electronic music, rhythm training, composition and/or improvisation, notation, technique and aesthetics of new music. Music theory / musicology, elective area.

Requirements in the entrance exam

a) Performance of at least three works of contemporary music of different stylistic orientations (one of the works must have been written in the 21st century) and one work from the traditional repertoire. The total duration of the programme must be at least 30 minutes. The candidate must bring 5 printed copies of the works of contemporary music. If possible, the future instrumental teacher should be a member of the entrance examination committee.

b) Short interview about the study programme (approx. 10 minutes).

Total duration: 40 minutes.
