Application Deadlines
Entrance examination for summer semester: 1 December
Entrance examination for winter semester: 1 April
Registration fee: 50 €
(Please note: The Master's programme in Music Music Pedagogy and Elemental Music Pedagogy can only be started in the winter semester)
Tuition and Fees
Registration or re-registration fees and social contribution for the Studierendenwerk (currently 150 €, as of July 2014). Tuition fees are not incurred in the consecutive Master's programme. In the non-consecutive Master's programme, tuition fees amount to €500 for each semester begun.

Formal Requirements for the Entrance Examination
Notes on entrance examination
The application deadline is generally 1 April for each winter semester and 1 December for each summer semester. The date of receipt counts.
Artistic Requirements for the Entrance Examination
Major field examinatio
- For Voice and instruments generally three or four works in various styles and, in some cases, one etude (15-20 minutes)
e.g. major field Piano: four works and one etude - For Choral Conducting, Elemental Music Pedagogy, Film Music, Ear Training, Historical Performance Practice, Composition, Art Song, Music and Movement / Rhythmic Training, Music Theory, and Orchestral Conducting, please refer to the info sheets or the appendix to the Matriculation Regulations.
